The Life Fitness IC7 Indoor Cycle utilizes a unique two-stage drivetrain with a 1:11 gear ratio, combining a Poly-V belt with a tooth belt. This allows for an incredibly high-speed flywheel rotation, resulting in an authentic road-bike feel and extreme torque. Its hallmark is the Coach By Color® system, which uses a five-zone LED indicator on the console to show the user (and the instructor) exactly how much effort is being exerted based on WattRate® (Power) or Heart Rate.

The MyRide® integration adds a 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen that offers three distinct apps: MyRide® Studio Coach (instructor-led classes), MyRide® World View (scenic rides through 500+ global locations), and MyRide® Power (data-driven performance metrics).
